Privacy Policy — Commission Check for Spas
Commission Check for Spas is designed as a local-first business utility.
Data the app may process
The app may process files you choose to import, including membership and service/class sales reports. These files can contain business records such as customer names, staff names, service names, membership plan information, transaction identifiers, dates, commission amounts, and related commission-checking fields.
The app uses the fields needed to perform commission verification.
Where data is stored
Imported working data and check history are stored locally on your device.
The app does not require an account or a backend service.
If you have iCloud Backup turned on for this device, or you back up this device to a computer, this locally stored data may be included in that backup, the same way it would be for any other app on your device. Those backups belong to you; we do not access, receive, or have any visibility into them.
Data transmission
The app does not send imported business data to our servers because it has no backend service.
Exports
When you choose to export a CSV or PDF, the app creates a temporary local export file so that you can use the iOS/iPadOS Share Sheet.
The destination you select is controlled by you and may be another app, cloud storage provider, AirDrop target, Files location, or another system destination.
The app cleans up temporary export files after the share flow or when the app becomes active again, subject to normal operating-system behavior.
Deletion
The app provides controls to clear check history and to clear all local app data.
Third-party software
The app uses third-party open-source libraries for supported file parsing and archive handling. Required third-party notices are included in the app bundle.
Children
The app is a business utility and is not directed to children.
Changes
If the app later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, collaboration, payments, or other network services, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
